On Ice Bohemia Platina – intermed. – R. CAC After holiday rest I coudn't wait for two international shows held in Bratislava. International show in Bratislava was moved from the hall in Incheba to the parking lot of horse racetrack. I understand that someone welcomed the outdoor environment and it did not bother me in case of jack russell terriers showing, but showing of yorkshire terrier with long coat in 20 cm tall grass, where are many holes from the horse hooves is truly an "experience". So, for exactly the same exhibition fees we moved from a spacious exhibition halls to by "cross-country" environment. There was not possible to disassemble the tents near show rings to not occupy much space. We crowded under the trees, trying to protect our dogs from unbearable heat and a very strong sun. The second day judge for yorkshires was changed for the third time, the rings were changed, so that confusions and running around the fair-ground in the terrible heat was very, very exhausting. The only De Luxe Bohemia Platina was able to show herself in this show and to succeed too. She won and got one day CAC, and R. CAC second day. Little Holiday On Ice Bohemia Platina was very brave and tried the best she could. Under these conditions, she got "only" R. CAC :). I think I'll really consider if I participate in my favorite show in Bratislava next time. My daughter Deniska attended in competition Child and dog in both days. The competition took place in the final rings ... after waiting all day, organizers left children wait next 40 minutes until brass band ended playing. Then, children ran into the ring, other children (the helpers at the show) gave them cups (by the way not all children got it!!!). I note that the fee was 20 euros. It was not possible to take pictures of children, they was just literally "expelled" from ring, probably to not delay much. Brass band was certainly paid by organizers, so that there must have been long enough. But for the children we parents paid, so why would organizers take a few moments and dignity them. Deniska got a tiny cup. The cup size is not the important, but she asked me why not get some candies at least. In September, the dogshow is held in Presov, which is known with its high level. I will look forward and believe in Presov everything will be perfect!
