October 1 - 2, 2010 Euro Dogshow Celje (SLO)
This year we went on the European show to Celje in Slovenia. Our trip was relaxed, almost all the time on the highway, so even with our large caravan we arrived to Celje already nine in the evening on Thursday 30. The weather was nice and the whole weekend was nice. We parked right at the entrance, connected to the electricity and water we had all comfort of living like in a hotel :) Olga from Russia came to us and together with Kasia and Lenka we have handled everything perfectly. Other passengers were Petra with Tereza, which showed our podengo female Bunny (www.podenco.cz) and they won the "European Winner 2010". So this year Bunny became the World Winner also European Winner! We are very happy and thank you Teresa for excellent handling! Also, congratulations on your success with your soft coated terriers! On Friday, we showed yorkshires in two ring, and we won the next two classes. Lenka Zemkova - owner of Focus Bohemia Platina - won intermediate class in a big competition of beautiful dogs. I think it is for her victory all the sweeter because she showed Focus itself. Lenka, big congratulation! In the same time I won in the next ring intermediate females class with Good Looking Bohemia Platina. It is a great achievement for me. Kasia Oleksy got in a puppy class with female Gracja for Bohemia Platina Mastery York (Best One Bohemia Platina x Zero Zone Bohemia Platina) a beautiful second place. Also, congratulations! Then we moved into our caravan,
took some rest and then we went for a walk around the fairground
and look into all pavilions. But I have to say that the fairground
was dirty and unkempt, certainly did not compare with the fairground
of World Dogshow in Denmark. Focus Bohemia Platina (owner Lenka Zemkova) won the intermediate class again under another judge and it only confirmed his quality. I am very glad that judge liked Focus. By winning both days in such prestigious exhibitions completed conditions for Slovenians Championship. Once again, congratulations! Good Looking was a bit naughty the next day and so she got "only" fourth place and De Luxe Bohemia Platina was second in open class, because she was still too dark for judge. Nevertheless, I'm very happy how we've succeeded and I thank judges for evaluation and award of appreciation to our dogs. Also thank you for your help girls - European and World's Dog Shows are always the most difficult :) Show ended around midnight and we got to bed until one in the morning. On the way home we went rested until nine in the morning. To the end of the year is only
a few shows, we take some rest and certainly we will not be
able to wait for the new show season. Daddy of my friend called
it "gambling". It probably is something on this ...
